That is pretty amazing tips and not that difficult to do. You will need some photoshop knowledge. With those tips, you can create amazing textures that will really help any scene.

Autodesk New 2014 software

Find at this link the new line of Autodesk Software and quick demos of the new features or enhance previous ones!

Pay attention to one in the 3DSMAX 2014 section where you see a cartoon little boy. Why? Because, the way they animate the face of that character is a very easy way to animate facial expression after you have your character UVW Unwrap!

Here are a few links that could help modelling: (but those can be demanding if done in full, the main idea of those links is to give you some ideas and help for your modelling. I would suggest to use the base of the modelling method but simplify it for your need.)

Animator Perspective vs Audience

Here is a demo reel that shows what the “Audience” will see. That is the rendered movie. While showing the rendered subject, he shows what an Animator would see, that is the rigging and the bones, helpers being used to create animation.
